Secondary Water Meter Project, Phase 12

Roy Water Conservancy District

RECEIPT OF BIDS: Sealed bids will be accepted at the Office of Roy Water Conservancy District, 5440 South Freeway Park Drive, Riverdale, Utah until August 8, 2024, for the Secondary Water Meter Project, Phase 12 for Roy Water Conservancy District.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work consists of reconfiguring existing service laterals and installing approximately 750 new water meters and all other work necessary to reconfigure the service laterals complete and in accordance with the Contract Documents and Project Specifications

LOCATION OF WORK: The work is located within the District Boundary of Roy Water Conservancy District any may include parts of Roy City, West Haven City, Hooper City, or Riverdale City in Utah as identified in the bidding documents.

SCOPE OF WORK: This project is partially funded by a grant. The scope of Work may increase or decrease depending on available funding.

COMPLETION OF WORK: The Work is to begin on August 30, 2024 or earlier as approved by Roy Water Conservancy District. The Work must be completed on or before April 30, 2025.

OPENING OF BIDS: Bids will be publicly opened on August 8, 2024, at 10:00 am at the aforementioned office of Roy Water Conservancy District.

OBTAINING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: Bidding Documents are available online at www.wasatchcivil.com under Bid Packages.

SECURITY: Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check or bid bond in the amount of five percent of the total bid price, made payable to Roy Water Conservancy District as guarantee that the bidder, if his bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Contract, secure payment of Worker’s Compensation insurance and furnish a satisfactory, faithful performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent of the contract price and a payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent of the contract price.

PROJECT ADMINISTRATION: The work described herein is Phase 12 of a secondary water meter project. This phase of the project is funded by the American Resue Plan Act (ARPA) and administered by the State of Utah Division or Water Resources. All questions relative to this project prior to opening of bids, shall be directed to the Project Engineer. It shall be understood, however, that no specification interpretations will be made by telephone, nor will any “or equal” products be considered for approval prior to award of contract.

OWNER’S RIGHTS RESERVED: Roy Water Conservancy District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in a bid, and to make awards in the interest of the Owner.
