4300 West Road Widening Project

RECEIPT OF BIDS: Sealed bids will be accepted at the Office of the Roy City Public Works Office Building, 2626 West 5525 South, Roy City, Utah, 84067, until 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2025, for the 4300 West Road Widening Project for Roy City Corporation.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work consists of approximately 3,030 feet of curb, gutter and sidewalk along 4300 West and extension of the asphalt pavement to the new curb and gutter with modifications to the storm drain.

LOCATION OF WORK:  The work is located along 4300 West from 4875 South to 5750 South.

COMPLETION OF WORK:  All work specified in the contract documents shall be completed within 75 days following the Notice to Proceed.

OPENING OF BIDS: Bids will be publicly opened at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at the Roy City Public Works Office Building.

CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: Contract Documents, provided by Wasatch Civil Consulting Engineering, may be purchased and downloaded online for a non-refundable fee of $30.00 at https://www.wasatchcivil.com.

BID SECURITY: Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check, or bid bond in the amount of five percent of the total bid price, made payable to Roy City Corporation as a guarantee that the bidder, if his bid is accepted, will promptly execute the contract, secure payment of Worker’s Compensation insurance and furnish a satisfactory, faithful performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent of the contract price and a payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent of the contract price.

PROJECT ADMINISTRATION: All questions relative to this project prior to the opening of bids shall be directed to the Project Engineer.

OWNER’S RIGHTS RESERVED: Roy City Corporation reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in a bid, and to make awards in the interest of the City.
